Peak Performance Coaching For Those Who Refuse To Let Any Of Their Talent Go To Waste

The Mission

To me, the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one’s potential.
— Bruce Lee

No matter your profession or your craft, your job is to transform all of your talent into skill and peak performance. As an elite performer, you cannot afford to allow any of your talent to go to waste, and talent gets wasted when people get distracted. How will you take ownership of every decision, every day, in a world that has been engineered to distract you?

If you refuse to let your talent go to waste, if you insist on living a life of peak performance and wellbeing, you need a program that devotes your time and attention to your nonnegotiable priorities, a program that eliminates distractions from your daily routine so you can show up everyday with the unshakable faith, audacity, and integrity that lead to flow.

That is a complex process with an indefinite timeline and an uncertain outcome. Everything we do is designed to simplify the process, accelerate the timeline, and increase your probability of success.

Flow is the optimal state of consciousness that delivers peak performance and wellbeing. Elite performers need to create the conditions for flow, every day. That is what our program is designed to do.

The Strategy

Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.
— Maya Angelou

Your life is a series of days, and each day is a series of decisions about what to do with your talent, your time, and your attention. Those decisions begin with questions. We mold champions, legends, and heroes by asking the questions that allow you to take ownership of your decisions, your days, and your destiny. Your answers to those questions allow you to take ownership of:

  • Prioritizing: When you know what truly matters and why it matters, you stop making decisions by default and start making them by design. You develop the clarity to say no to the distractions that waste your talent and yes to the quest that leads to peak performance and wellbeing.

  • Strategizing: When you understand the terrain, you stop being surprised by the struggle. You recognize that self-doubt, sacrifice, and uncertainty are not signs that your quest is failing, they are stages of the journey. That understanding gives you the audacity and faith to keep moving toward mastery and peak performance, even when the outcome is uncertain.

  • Planning: When your calendar and your nonnegotiable priorities are aligned, your life starts to reflect what actually matters to you. Planning is how your authentic priorities become daily habits, and daily habits are how talent becomes skill, skill becomes peak performance, and peak performance becomes your contribution to your community.

  • Tactics: When you know which levers to pull to bring yourself back to full presence and peak performance, meaning and fulfillment stop being things you pursue and start being things you experience, in your preparation, in your performance, and in the contribution you make to the people around you.

Prioritizing answers what matters. Strategizing answers how to navigate it. Planning answers when and how often. Tactics answer what to do right now. Together, they give you a complete, customizable decision-making framework, one that orients every layer of life, from philosophy to daily habit, toward the same destination: a performance that unleashes all of your talent and skill.

The Benefits

When you know the way broadly, you see it in all things.
— Miyamoto Musashi
  • Take ownership of your priorities.
Right now, your talent, your time, and your attention are being spent by whoever or whatever gets to you first:  a notification, an obligation, a mood. This program asks the questions that put you back in charge, so every decision starts reflecting what you actually value instead of what happened to show up.

  • Take ownership of your journey.
Uncertainty, self-doubt, and sacrifice, feel like proof you're off track. They're not. They're stages of the journey that every elite performer moves through on the way to mastery. Once you can name the stage of the journey you're in, you keep moving instead of second-guessing.

  • Take ownership of your time.
A priority that isn't on your calendar isn't a priority, it's a wish. This program is how your nonnegotiables become your habits, and how your habits become the skill and performance you're capable of.

  • Take ownership of your performance.
Peak performers don't luck into flow, they build the conditions for it, every day. This program gives you the tactics, the specific levers you pull to bring yourself back to full presence, on command, not by chance.

  • The result: talent stops leaking from your performance through distraction, and starts compounding into skill, into flow, into the contribution only you can make.

The Social Proof

Chris changed my life. That’s not an exaggeration. Through working with Chris over these last few years, I’ve started and maintained a consistent fitness routine, lost 30 pounds, improved my relationships with my family and community, and I’ve discovered the work I want to do to satisfy and live my life’s mission.
Chris is insightful, pragmatic, relentless, patient, and strategic. He has developed and refined a system that has helped me at each stage on my journey, and I am confident that he can help anyone who has a growth mindset and is interested in living a life aligned with their mission and values. And if you don’t know what your mission and values are, Chris will help you figure that out.
I’ve had a project on the back burner for four years, and by working with Chris and peeling back layer by layer of what I’m doing and why I’m doing it, this project catapulted from a side project that was optional and a ‘nice to have’ into the recognition that this is my life mission and it is a must have. I must pursue this and it was through working with Chris that clarity became evident. I highly recommend Chris and appreciate the work that he continues to do with me.

The Decision

My life has been a path at the edge of uncertainty… You don’t grow on a secure path… All of us should conquer something in life, and it needs a lot of work, and it needs a lot of risk. In order to grow and to improve, you need to be there a bit - at the edge of uncertainty.
— Chef Francis Mallmann

Like Chef Francis, my life has been a path at the edge of uncertainty. I have been working for two decades to master my craft, and I have been living my methods since 2017. This adventure has been the most challenging and the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. It has been a journey from wasted talent, regret, and resentment to peak performance, wellbeing, and contribution.

My custom coaching program is not for everyone. The “12 Skills for Life” self-coaching tools are designed for those who need to go at their own pace, and for those who insist on figuring things out for themselves.

There are many reasons this business is called “Never Surrender,” and one of them is that confronting and overcoming the uncertainty can be so uncomfortable that there are days when it feels easier to just stop and surrender to the distractions. If you insist on living an audacious and adventurous life by transforming all of your talent into skill and peak performance, then you deserve a coach who refuses to let any of your talent go to waste. My job is transforming all of my talent into skill and peak performance, and my profession is helping you transform all of your talent into skill and peak performance.

You must decide between a life of meaning and fulfillment and a life of regret and resentment. That sounds like an easy decision, until it forces you to confront uncertainty and self-doubt. Will you take your first leap of faith?
